CIVIL CEREMONIES
Recent changes in Irish legislation regarding wedding ceremonies, makes it possible for Civil Marriages to be held in venues other than a registry office "provided the venue has been inspected and approved by the HSE in advance of marriage ceremony and subject to the registrar being available to solemnise a marriage at the venue on the date in question".
For an intimate wedding of up to 30 guests, Greenmount House is the perfect venue.
The room in which your ceremony will be held is filled with natural light and enjoys panoramic views over Dingle Town and harbour.
We have ideal areas both within Greenmount House and in our grounds which afford beautiful views for your canapé and drinks reception. We also have landscaped gardens which you are welcome to use with your photographer for those memorable wedding pictures.
With adequate pre-booking time we will be happy to organise for the exclusive use of the entire venue for your special ceremony and your guests accommodation.
We have an in-house wedding specialist with over 12 years experience of co-ordinating and organising weddings in Ireland, we can connect you with the specialists
you will need for your day; musicians, hair & make-up artists, photographers, florists etc.
Catering can be provided here at Greenmount House by the Home Catering departments of some of Dingle's finest restaurants. Alternatively if you would like to reserve a restaurant and an area for the later festivities in one of the many famous Dingle hostelries, we can recommend a venue that is right for you.
