Dingle is a small fishing town on the Dingle Peninsula, locally known as Corca Dhuibhne, on the Wild Atlantic Way. The Peninsula stretches 30 miles or 48 kilometres along the Atlantic Ocean on Ireland’s south-west coast
The Dingle Peninsula is dominated by the range of mountains that form its spine, running from the Slieve Mish range to Mount Brandon, Ireland’s second highest peak
The Blasket Islands lie to the west of the peninsula
Corca Dhuibhne has something to offer to everyone - sandy beaches safe for swimming, walking routes for all abilities, a thriving Irish language community, a rich musical tradition, fine dining, sea angling, arts and film festivals, talented crafts persons and some of the best surfing in Ireland
