Mount Brandon Hill Walking & Music Festival
The festival caters to all levels of walkers with two difficult walks: Mount Brandon and Baile Dubh and two easy walks Sás Creek to Brandon Point and Sliabh Glas.
Feile Na Bealtaine
An amazing Music & Arts Festival takes place every May Bank Holiday. Over five days it brings you music, literature, art & performances from all over the world.
The Maharees Regatta is the first of the summer’s contests of naomhóg racing. The regatta attracts competitors from Clare and Galway as well as local crews from all around the Dingle Peninsula.
Castlegregory Summer Festival
The Festival is known far and wide for family entertainment. There are lot of events geared towards family involvement including summer festival queen selection, dances/discos, pet show, amusements, treasure hunts and much more.
Brandon Bay Half Marathon & 10k Run
This takes place in 2015 (date TBC) as part of the Castlegregory Summer Festival and can be run, jogged or walked. The event starts and finishes at Fahamore in the Maharees for both distances.
The Ventry Regatta is a two day festival of sporting and cultural activities in and around the village and beach of Ventry. In addition to naomhóg racing there will be family sports, beach art, poetry, dancing, walking and horse shoe throwing.
Traditional naomhóg racing, plus a number of cultural activities and walks.
Ireland’s Largest & Best Horse & Pony Meeting, takes place every year on the second weekend in August.
A two-day programme of highly competitive races displaying the skill and expertise of the boat men and women of Corca Dhuibhne and further afield in Dingle. Competitors from West Kerry are joined by crews from the Maharees, Brandon and as far away as Donegal & Clare at this annual event.
The Brandon Regatta is the last rowing contest of the summer and is held in late August every year. Boat races take place from the village’s fishing pier. The event is also marked by music, song and festivities in the local pubs and on the village’s waterfront.
Half, full and 50 mile ultra marathon around the spectacular Dingle Peninsula. This is a ‘must do’ race guaranteeing a once in a life time experience.
Dingle Traditional Music Festival
Dingle Tradfest is Ireland’s newest innovative Trad-Fusion Music Festival. The festival provides a platform for both National and internationally acclaimed performing artists to showcase modern and original talents within the usually more traditional environment that is the Dingle Peninsula.
Dingle Food & Wine Festival
Highlights of the Dingle Peninsula Food Festival include a taste trail in over 60 outlets, where festival goers can purchase taste tickets and sample local cuisine delights in locations that vary from pubs, and galleries to shop and restaurants. A festival that should not be missed.
Other Voices is one of Ireland’s most unique music events. The annual gathering, which started in Dingle, has since it’s inception evolved to establish itself as a true ‘one of a kind’. Now stretching along the Atlantic Way from West Kerry to Derry, Other Voices attracts an expanding array of artists from across the musical spectrum to perform at this intimate musical event which is transmitted worldwide online and as a television series. Past performances include Ellie Goulding, Amy Winehouse, Elbow, The National, Damien Rice, Snowpatrol &Ryan Adams.
